Grant has been with our family for an entire month today. It has gone by so quickly, but it has been a wonderful four weeks. Although he is still a tiny newborn, Grant has come a long way. Yesterday, he started smiling a little, which is so fun! He has a sweet personality and he is a very easy going baby. He can hold his head up, he lifts his head up during tummy time, and he responds to sounds and follows faces with his eyes. Grant took his first bottle today, and he did a great job! It is amazing how quickly babies grow and develop. Before I know it, I'll have another three-year-old in my house! :)
As far as sleeping is concerned, Grant is doing very well. He has a great routine during the day and he is only waking up two times a night (once between 10pm and midnight, and another wake up call between 2am and 4am). I am looking forward to long sleep stretches in the future, but I can't complain for now. If he is anything like Steven, then Grant will be snoozing for 12 hour stretches in about six or seven months.
Adding Grant to the mix has been an awesome change for the family. Steven is in love with Grant and he likes to help. Having two boys is the best!
